On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 (Jestha 22, 2083 | 5 June 2026), a panel discussion was successfully held at ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ข, ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฒ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒโ๐, ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ค๐ก, under the ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ข ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ implemented by ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ง๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ with the financial support of ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.The session focused on โPlastic Pollution Reduction and the Role of Local Government in Climate-Resilient Development.โ
Representatives from local government, schools, community forest groups, youth networks, civil society, and development partners actively participated in the discussion on climate change, waste management, green schools, renewable energy, forest conservation, and sustainable local governance.

Participants emphasized that these commitments must go beyond paper and be transformed into real action through collective responsibility.
